That's strange, you are correct to assume that, if you have a suppliers subbed box then an instant switch without the provision of new card would of course mean you losing all your service on that as well - EMU is on I presume, if so then it could be a localised problem.

 

they can upgrade the card via the box as well be aware of that they can send you out a new card after that i know they are moving very fast now in the Uk with the change over so it is quite possible that you have been hit by N3 so if you done a rescan make sure you have no splitters on your incoming cable when updating the box

I havent had chance to try my original VM box yet so will try that tonight.

I just wanted to validate that the switch should not happen before new cards are issued.

hi just to let people no got a sv3 all channels had gone down even the fta channels done a scan nothing i thought oh no its gone then done a factory reset hey presto there all back with a few extra channel being nagra 3 test channels i live on the wirral cheshire area looks like the end is not far away

 

get a dreambox it's the way forward i've told you this in work and you wont listen lol

 

There is no cam or emu working on dreambox for N3 on cable except c/s.

 

and there is no cam for that box to work on N3 in Ireland either so that box will still not work either way as there is no server for it well that i know of
