Unable region control DVD MAC OSX

    Anybody out there know how to unable the "region control" function on the MAC 0SX DVD player so that one can switch back&forth between DVDs coded for different regions?

    I would expect there is a file in /var that controls this but can't find anything.

    you are only able to switch between regions only 5 times. unless there is some hacked firmware you may be able to find.. but i wouldn't recommend it.. may fry your drive

    But can region 0 backups be played without this problem?
