unable to crack the crack

    I down loaded a dvd copier from of a shareware site. It came with the software and the crack code. I can't seem to get the crack code to work. When I open the crack file its in a code that want open with Word or Adobe. I have no problem installing software but cracking the crack has got me stumped.
