BTW, V10.62 appears to work. Opera must of loosened their standards again.

I had a similar situation with IE8, and after I cleared my temp files, and browser cache, was able to respond to threads without any problem.

Opera conforms to W3C standards which are somewhat strict, unlike Idiot Exploiter which is the exact opposite. FF is in the middle.
Bottom line, it's the web site where the issue is, not the browser. Sloppy code doesn't cut it.

Anyway, I have had correspondence with "Jari" from this site and would post the last three e-mails as he seems to be somewhat of a rarity; someone who really cares about their web site (in reverse order):

We made some changes about 2 weeks ago (after your post) to the "quick reply" box underneath each discussion thread. Could you tell me whether this still occurs with Opera or have the code changes fixed the issue?

Only because of the poor forum software. Opera works fine with two dozen plus other forums I visit.

I didn't expect that reply to work, but it did. :)
Apparently whatever you did fixed the problem.

BTW, I'm using Opera V11.01. The next release V11.10 is still in beta.

Thank you for recognizing the problem. I even tried the preview window first and it posted fine. I also tried the edit function and that was fine.
