    Hi group-

I have a Samsung 32" HDTV UN32EH4003 plus a Samsung Blu Ray player BD-E5900 together in my bedroom. The 2 remotes are very similar but each has a little something different to control it's specific item.

On the blu ray player, there are buttons on the remote in the upper right corner that turn on and off the TV, and below can increase or decrease the volume. I would like the option to change channels and have the sleep timer function that is on my TV remote.

I would like to find a way to get by with only 1 remote for the 2 items. Do I need to buy a universal remote or is there a better solution for this?

Thanks for the idea, but my house is not very smart. It looks like a nice idea though.
