i also generated a set of codes my self using "NokiaFREE Unlock codes Calulator v3.10" but none of them was the same as the 1 gave me... any idea's where i was going wrong?

 

Glad to see the code worked out for you. 3+ years of experience for me doing this. You just didn't have the correct box code to generate the code needed for unlocking. Hard to explain.

Yes, the software is there and free, I just don't teach how it works for the various models there are.

 

Oh right... i used to help others unlock 6230/6230i's about a year ago here on this forum... its been a long time......
