Wow! That was a quick response. Unfortunately the code didn't work. I'm fairly certain I entered it correctly (using the short instructions in your signature). Tried restarting the phone, but still get "Incompatible handset".

is the provider the one the phone is locked to or the one you want to use?

 

It's locked to TeliaSonera. It's no big deal if it gets hardlocked.

 

try this code..#pw+712 290 431 014 704+7# it is slightly different, then try a sim from a different network.

 

Got "Can not undo restriction". I guess that means it's hardlocked after 3 tries. Oh well, thanks for the help anyway.
