If it's a Sprint/Virgin or Verizon (like most Sanyos) hire a professional. Sprint phones can NOT be unlocked without cables that I am aware of. What service provider do you want to put it on? Sprint uses CDMA; the only other companies in the US that do are Verizon and Alltel. US CDMA phones will NOT work on Cingular, T-Mobile, AT&T, or ANY major wireless provider outside the US.
