Unlock Nokia 6230 Please

    Hi there,

    Nokia 6230

    Locked to Vodafone Ireland

    IMEI 356626006291658

    Any help would be appreciated....

    it says code on the back like this...

    code: 0518291 356629/00/629165/8

    hope this helps coz i dont have a vodafone sim to check it out on!!!

    1. Insert a non accepted sim, most times it will show "Phone Restricted"
    2. Press the UNDO option
    3. You should see a box that says enter restriction code.
    4. Enter the code given and then press (OK)

    the phone says "cannot undo restriction"

    any idea what this means????

    “Cannot undo restriction” or “Not allowed” means. After you have made 5 attempts or even 3 attempts on newer phones and failed, the phone displays that message, meaning that the phone is "hard locked." At this point, you will still be able to use the phone with the original provider, but you will not be able to unlock it by codes. You will need to take or send it to a professional for direct unlocking service.
