    Hi!

Could someone please help me unlock my new phone?

It's locked to Orange and the IMEI is: 359364002581020

    Many thanks,

    Michael.

P.s. A previous post that I made about a locked phone - it was barred. Is there anything that I can do about this to get it unbarred or take it up with ebay etc?

    sorry, again:
i've tried the normal unlocking codes and various code generators but when i enter the codes nothing happens, it doesnt even come up with a code error or code acceptance.
    what can be the problem?

I have the nokia 6230 on uk orange.... and have got the 7 unlock codes but i must be doing something wrong.

    this is what i do.

01, take sim out of the fone..
02 turn fone on, and get insert sim... then enter the code like #pw+ blahblah blah+blah#

then nothing happens... no errors... just the code on screen..

is there a comfirm button u have to press? the only option i have is to clear

    Hi all

I need an unlock code to use an ORANGE sim in a NOKIA6230. It is currently locked to VODAFONE. http://unlock.nokiafree.org/ asks for a GEN - what is this and is there any way of finding out which my phone is?

    Thanks in advance!

    hi guys

Just to let you kno I did another trawl of the AD forums and found that you can set your GEN to ASIC6 on the http://unlock.nokiafree.org/ site and it should work.

Tried the 7th code on the list, and indeed it did unlock the phone - Thanks anyhow
