unsupported m3 format

    i have a motorola V180 i downloaded mobile phone tools 3.11 and p2k driver and installed both when i go to transfer the file i get message unsupported m3 format has anyone else had this problem any help appreciated thanks in advance

    have u tried the P2Kman instead of the MPT.....

    no i have not tried that program will that work with the motorola V180 i will give it a try are the two softwares similar thanks

    just tried p2kman and it doesnt rcognize the device

    cant get it to go tried everything at wits end been reading and reading and downloading every program out there still no any help appreciated it use to work with mpt now i get the message unsupported m3 format dont know what to do

    did u install the P2K Drivers???

    yes i did still unsupported m3format i remember reading in the forum someone else had same problem and they figured it out i wish they would see this and maybe we could figure it out thanks still need help

    have u tried to reflash ur phone???

    no i have not tried that how do igo about it and where can i find the program for it motorola V180 or the name of the program thanks again

    u need to find a flash for v180 and u need PST to reflash ur fone....

    i downloaded pst but while downloading needed different updates for service pack2 which i have where would i find them and the flash for v180 thanks

    well to update ur service pack 2 u need to update ur windows, about the flash i used to have a link but its not working anymore so i guess u have to do some little search :s:s

    iam able to transfer pictures and polyphonic ringtones using mpt but still get unsupported m3 format when i try to transfer files from limewire or imesh cant understand why doesnt make sense thanks

    thats coz maybe ur fone is with an old S/W and u need to upload it with a new S/W..........
