morning peeps.. Need some advice....I have a euro-vox max v 2008 box. I'm always having to manually input the new codes. Last week someone I know asked me to install the firmware on there new eurovox ex1000sl, which I did. Cos my box is already up n running can I just plug it into pc and updates the firmware on it so I dont have to manually put the codes in meself..it does it itself. If i can, could you direct me to the right firmware as Im unsure if I can use the firmware on this thread http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/674371 and will i have to sort out all my fav channels again? Thanks in advance for any advice given
The firmware on the thread is fine for you, if it is a genuine Max V 2008, and it has an Auto-Sort feature which does this for you into genre groups, but you can if you wish upload your channel data to your PC and give it a name of your choice by using the bottom half of UFL.

The large DOWNLOAD is the one you press to flash it, nothing else.
just an update....I did it!! My eurovox no longer needs me to update the codes on it..it does it itself, like last night. It was sooooo easy..I even uploaded my channels like u said then downloaded them again. Easy peasy. Thanks again
Well done again twobears, good news and can see your well pleased LOL No more messing around for you now!!!!
