Updating my box

    Hi .

    I have a starview box

    API ver:2.55e.E
    Boot ver :7.0


    25 " x7 "

    my question is , apart from updating the codes itself does upgrading the box by downloading the firmware have any other benefits?
    As if it doesn’t, I might leave it as is , due to the fact I’ve read the advice on how to do it and think I’ll mess it up,

    It improves the EPG a bit and as said it auto updates the codes when they change,nothin else really.
