Updating Starview 2 using Vista

    Hi

    Has anyone actually updated a starview box using vista and a usb adapter??

    I am going to try and update mine tomorrow using my dads computer which is xp and it might have a serial connector on it.

    If anyone had managed to update theres using a vista computer, what cable did you use? and where did you get it from?

    you will find it much easier using XP than vista!! simply plug in your Null Modem cable and off you go!!

    yea i have the right cable i am just hoping that his computer has a port for me to plug the null cable into
