upgrading my processor

    after i finished updating my memory ram, im looking into upgrading the processor. for my computer i have a pentium 4 socket 478. is there anything else i need to know for my processor to be compatible with my motherboard? im just checking for compatibility here.

    oh and can anybody tell me about processors? like what part of the processors are important and such? i dont know much about it

    Just make sure your new processor is socket 478.

    does it still have to be pentium 4?

    also, what does it mean when it says stuff like SL6VV and SL5VH
