I have a Sony Vaio PCG-560 and I'd like to upgrade the dvd-rom drive to a dvd+-rw drive. Sony themselves told me it's not possible, but I think that's just crap. That's their way of telling me I need to buy a new laptop, one that has a dvd+-rw drive on it.
CAN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE OR ANY OPINIONS...

Well Im not sure if you are able to upgrade your laptop, but there is always the option of useing an external DVD burner. Besides it would probably be alot cheaper then buying one from Sony.

Well, I looked on the Sony website and they don't have internal drives for this model (or any of their laptops!!!) Isn't that ridiculous???. I don't want more external things, that's too much cludder and more outlets being used. I want something internal. That is why I was asking the question.

Can anyone else help me with this issue?
