I'm looking at a 48 or 50 Mitsubishi big screen. The 48 was reccomended but it was sitting next to a 50 and it's all the difference in the world. This will be my 1st and I'm curious as to upkeep and should I get the protective screen ($249US) It's supposed to have one already. Thanks in advance. John
the best thing to do is to take out the extra warrenty when you purchase your tv i have a toshiba 50" and im on my second screen in 2 years they are are pretty fragile but id go for the 50" instead of the 48" it doesnt sound much that extra 2" but you'd be suprized and they are a pain in the ass to clean.
