Urgent Help

    Hey!

    I plan on getting a new computer and i want it to be AMD, i want to use it for DVD-backups, some gaming

    AMD Athlon XP3000+ processor - would that be a good CPU
    512 or 1-2 gigs

    Help me please

    I have an AMD Athlon 3000+ XP i would say its very good mines is the 400Mhz Front side bus. Your better getting the 400mhz if you want to run DDR400 memory and i dont know what you mean by 512 1-2 gigs but ill assume memory. If your getting memory i would say 1 gig is enough 2 gigs way too much 512 megs enough but not amazing.

    Thats my opion anyway
