I was looking for a proxy software that would work with online applications, and a friend suggested SocksCap. However long story short, all support for the program has been shut down (due to Blue Coat buying the company) and it is disfunctional.

I was wondering if anyone had any similar programs or suggestions.

I do not require a list of proxies, I have that myself but I require a reliable program that can run online applications through a user-designated proxy.

    Thankyou for your time,

    Toiletman.

The answer heavily depends on your definition of "online applications".
Some more specific info would help.

The applications I generally want a proxy for are games, like Korean MMOs (some of which require Korean-based IP to play on), etc. Games like World of Warcraft, Counter-Strike etc.

I was told SocksCap had the function to launch .exes and for them to use a proxy, and I was looking for a similar program with the same purpose.

Oh, i forgot about this, sorry.
The problem is proxies are slow, generally too slow for online gaming, unless you're paying for such a proxy service.
So it will be really hard to find a viable (non pay) solution.

Yeah like I said, my problem isn't with the proxy list, it's with the proxy program. =D

Yeah I tried that already, unfortunately it has very basic features even for a proxy program and doesn't do what I want at all/
