I would like to know if there is an external device that would hook up to my USB 1.1 ports and allow me to run the USB 2.0?? I have a Dell Inspiron 2600 laptop, or would I need to have the internal ports switched out??

Thanks for your help in advance!! if you need more info let me know.

I don't think you will be able to run 2.0. You will have to get a pcmcia card to upgrade the port. Otherwise 2.0 will run at 1.1. You could try a docking station, but that would defeat the purpose of a laptop.
