Usb touchpad

    I have a good Synaptic touchpad, version 3 I think, I scrapped from my old laptop. Does anyoen know of any tutorials to mak ethis nto a usb touchmouse?

    What I'm asking is if I can make my Synaptic V3 touchpad work for my desktop. Like make it usb or ps/2. I found a guide to make the v4 PS/2 but I have a v3 and i can't find the guide anymore.
