my friend says that there is a program online that lets my usb port temporarily act as a firewire port. is there one somewhere cause i googled it for hours and cant find one. do you think hes bs'n me?
Can't be done. No software can do that since we're obviously talking about different hardware specs. What he might be talking about is using camcorders that have both a USB and Firewire port. However, capturing video via Firewire is preferred since it's virtually lossless, unlike USB.
