using 16x memorex disks

    using shrink - any dvd -- copy to dvd se. i reduced the buring speed to 4x and 8x. recording begins to skip and stop. any suggestions. same disk plays ok on notebook.

    You know where you went wrong?

    The subject line: "using 16x memorex disks." lol

    16x, even with trusted media (like Verbatim), is risky. The most glaring problem is "memorex." Check out that link and the media forum for the horror shows about memorex.
