do i download it on the computer if yes how do i get it on my ds?

 

You don't need to put the AR app on your DS, you just need it to get the codes from their servers. If you follow the instructions on page 1, you'll be up and running in no time.

 

Its official, I suck at R4DS, I recently Arm-7 patched a game backup so it would work, and now I can't use the cheats. They were available before I patched it, but not anymore.
It needed to be patched to run.

Game is: Ben 10 - Protector of Earth (U)

 

is it necessary to have the cheat.dat file if you have usrcheat.dat?

 

well ive read all 9 pages yet i didnt see an answere besides one person, my R4 is 1.11 english, i replaced CHEAT with usrcheat.dat, and not one of my games have the y cheat option, i noticed someone did it by formating their card to FAT and EBA something like that i dont know what it meant, but is there a solution out there that i am missing?

 

this is the one i found, i dont understand it, but is it a possible lead?

read his guide CAREFULLY, it worked for me, what i had to do was use both CHEAT and usrcheat at the same time, and now it works

 

/this is a good guide. it worked for me.
but....... on the M3 you can download the firmware that has cheats already on it which comes as CHEAT file when you copy the firmware in to your system file. there is no difference between the two cheat files just that one or two cheats are missed off.
To add for the M3 i think it was firmware 1.7 that already had built in cheats.

And everyone not all games have cheats. You could be wondering why it aint working on some games so that could be your answer.
Even though this is obvious i just thought it might help.

Should there be a R on the right side beside the game? if i press R button the circle will turn green and if i press again it turns red wat does that mean?

 

when u open the folder to the local_codelists which one do I choose to find the XML and could u give me an example of what u should be finding

yea... at the 4th step where is the file? could u be specific where an what to click? its the c: somethin action code manager.... i have alredy go the u.s. codes copied to the code list >.>

i need help!!!! how do i update the firmware..... i click the link then it says open with yada yada what do i open it with.... please can someone help me... i have every thing else done..... i just need this small update an i'll be done....>.> and then how do i update my r4 with the 1.11.... plus when i got my r4 every thin was done, it had like 20 games on it already an all i had to do was put the games on it.... what do i do?

 

ughhh how do i update my sd card? i click it then it says open with mozilla fire fox default when i hit enter the same box cums up sayin the same thin again an the mozilla fire fox page blank behind it.... mozilla fire fox is basically internet if u didnt no....... what do i download the 1.11 version to? Then how do i update my sd card... please give a detailed step by step guide.... i am a noob and do not know what to do the guide on pg1 was too vauge
