Using Action Replay Codes on your R4/M3 Simply

Its the american rom. And I am using R4 not M3.

So like should I just delete everything in the system folder again and try again?

 

So just to check I will be copying the 'US' codejunkies to my codelsists? I live in the uk but have the american rom cuz I got it before it was released in uk

 

Yes. You will need to use the US codelist.

I just deleted everything on my card that was being used in your instructions and started again and it worked! I must have had too many files or something dont know.

 

hi my ds cant read the action replay on the ds spot.the the program keeps coming up and i lost my cd. also the frim ware is in chinese so what button do i press

i did every thing you said and its not workin for me or how do i use the cheats.

 

I'm about to break something after countless hours looking for a solution for this. Just yesterday, the code manager and my action replay was working perfectly. My problem is that when I open up the manager, it doesn't attempt to load or connect to the subscription (codejunkies.com)and it says load failed. Even the custom codelists says 'load failed'(I had some costom codes on it yesterday.) As well as the I seen other people have this same problem, but no one seems to have an answer to this. People said things like reinstall or turn off the firewall, but none seems to work. Anyone have a solution?

 

hello can i have your xfire or msn cause i have a problem it cant connect to my action replay or i need to buy a action replay? i think the R4 is already with a action replay but how to connect it it sais: load failed

About updating ur firmware to v.1.08

Where am i suppose to put it to update?
I tried putting the whole file 'English' onto my SD card but still it is at my old version ( v1.01 i believe ) and then after i tried replacing the stuff inside 'English' to my Root_TF folder, but still, nothing happened... no update.
Any help?

 

okay,so i used a new SD card and i got all the files in it but still the cheat button didnt show up..

 

It would be great if you guys provided screenshots or something so that we can try to figure out what went wrong.

 

Theres like a bunch of cheats for animal crossing but i cant press y on it! im upgraded and i can use cheats for other games just not like animal crossing and call of duty 4 but i still know theres cheats for them and i saw them get downloaded.

 

hey...i was following by ur tutorial..but after i install the AR manager,the subscriptions cannot be loaded...it's always say load failed...i dont know why...i already connect to the internet and it's still same....can anyone help me?

I probably miss something very obvious, but I do not see *any* cheats on my R4... I have several games that should have cheat codes (even some that are on the "official" list on the R4DS site...

I have 1.18 in the card, and downloaded the latest (3/28) cheats from this site, but NONE of the games shows the cheats button... There are some 30 games on the card, from mixed origins (EU and US), and they all play, but - like I said - none of them show the cheats button.

I also have a CycloDS (we actually have 4 of these types of slot 1 cards in the family <G>), and that one has cheats for most of the games I have on that one, and some games are actually on both cards, so I know they should have cheats on the R4 as well...

Any suggestions?

i did all that stuff my r4 already had the latest firmware was i supposed to download it again? where are u suppose to paste the urscheat.dat which folder??? please help me

My DD(8) has 1.4 firmware, and does get the cheats
My DS(5) and DW have 1.8 firmware and do not get the cheats, with exactly the same cheat files...

Is there any known issue with 1.8 cheats?...

 

If I remember correctly, there was a small bug on the cheat support capability of the R4 v1.18.

Update you MicroSD card with the new firmware
Install the Code Manager.
1. Under Subscriptions right click Codejunkies US Games and select copy if you want all or just do this for games you want.

I'm looking for the Codejunkies US Games >.> but I don't see that..it says "loading fail" also on the bottom..it just says codejunkies.com and when I right click on that it doesn't have a copy or paste it just says "Refresh" or "New" Subscriptions...~ so- I'm confused.

Please someone..anyone help.
