Using external monitor with Venturer player

Hi,

I bought a Venturer portable playere with a 10.5 inch screen about 4 years ago. I haven't used it for a long time, but now I'd like to connect it to a large 22" inch monitor and use it in the bedroom at home. But can I do this? There are two sockets in the side for Audio and Video output, but they are just for jacks such as you have for headphones. My monitor has a SCART socket, and that's all. I'm not bothered about the audio, as I'd be using headphones, but I'd like to know if I can connect the player to the monitor with some kind of adaptor. And would it work?
