Many of the earlier models of HDTV only have 1 HDMI input. With more video sources outputing in HDMI format only due to content protection, ie, HDCP user will need to expand the single HDMI input.

I was an early adopter and had also only 1 HDMI input with no way to connect 2 or more HDMI sources!

Fortunatly I found an external http://www.octavainc.com/HDMI switch 5port.htm]5x1 HDMI switch which allows me to connect up to 5 HDMI sources to my TV. The switch was easy to use and has a great Smart Scan feature which automatically detecst the HDMI source and switches for me! It really made things much easier to use and at the same time solved my 1 HDMI input problem.

I know there will be others that have the same problem so just wanted to share with all.

You can also find other HDMI solution at
