I think the title of the thread says it all and we do live in a material world after all.

Haha I don't know if I'm double posting but I got a Yaght Master, the Submariner was a mistake lol. I'll post REAL(as in not google images) when I get home, but here is what it looks like. The face is made from Platinum, I guess that's where the 8k USD price tag comes in!

@Abuzar1 ... beautiful timepiece my friend! I want to get a good watch one of these days.

@anyone who wants a Rolex ... I can buy a Rolex on every street corner in downtown Philly for ten to fifteen dollars; what a great deal eh? Do you suppose they might be knock-offs LOL!

Haha I've dealt with fake Rolex watches. If you want a good fake you can get one about for 300. I know I have a fake Submariner. I was sick of wearing that though so I got the real deal. Here are the pics, kinda blurry, had to use my BB Pearl because my dad's friend "borrowed" my Nikon D200. BTW the Rolex Datejust is my dad's but he lets me use it, and the submariner next to it is the fake one I was talking about.

Oh and if you're looking for a nice watch I can testify a Rolex is better than a Omega. If you want to buy a Rolex find a Mayors in your mall, they give extra warranty for free.

Too much for something thats on every phone and pda these days.....a clock.......Funny story from my earlier years......I met a lady at a club and she was talking about men who try to impress...she stated the more flash ie .. car, jewelry....... the smaller the penis......compensation?........I have found that it goes to insecurity.....As you mature ( age matters not in this ) you put away childish things...........

Sometimes you just want to indulge your self maybe? A nice watch will always be a nice watch, no phone can replace that. I don't wear any jewelry, and that Rolex isn't what I would call flashy. It just sets a good impression say when you are looking for a job or something.
