If removing SpyBot doesn't help.... Most problems such as you describe are caused by bugs in "shell extensions". These are plug-ins to Explorer that provides all the stuff you see in the context menu that right-click gives you. Even with looking at the dump it's impossible to say which one is at fault (or even if this is the problem), but if it is the problem you can find it in just a few searches.. Just hope I can walk you through the process… LOL

the windows explorer crash is being caused by the spybot search & destroy program. causes no problems on some computers but does on other. spybot knows about the problem.

Gee, I was thinking that was it... and really didn't want to lead someone through the shell extensions. :D

Sorry it took me so long to answer. The problem has been solved after I uninstalled Spybot. I've always used Spybot, is sad that it's causing those kinds of troubles. Thank to everyone specially 2oldGeek for your patience. You are a great instructor.

I said you keep the dead flowers but give her the live flowers for brownie points. on other hand if you give her the dead flowers we get to watch as she does you in which might be better then a movie at the theater.

but it would be at your expense. I like spending money when I can justify it to myself as I only have to answer to myself not anyone else.

you didn't get what I meant as you have to answer to your wife whereas I don't as not married so I just have to answer to myself.
