vcd on cd-r?

    hello,

    i had a problem concerning my JVC player. this player supports VCD, SVCD and Mp3 but when i tried to playback my VCD which i created in cd-r it register as NO-DISC...
    is there any solution for this problem?

    you created the VCD in CD-R ?????

    What did you use to compile the VCD image?

    Check that your dvd player can play cd-r media because some can only play cd-rw media. Also check if your dvd player only plays vcd1.1, which some do!

    i use Ulead DVD wizard, Nero and my DVD players plays VCD 2.0 as far as i know! i tried recording my VCD using only 4x but still nothing happens!

    Did you try using different media and does your dvd player have any limitations on media??

    Nero burns vcd2.0 so thats not your problem!
