This is probably a silly question, but is there any way to fit a vcd onto one cd-r or cd-rw? if the file is too large, i guess I would need to first split the file. Do i need to split the file before i use Tmpgenc, or after? Also my other option would probably be to get a dvd-burner right?

you can get 80 minutes of vcd on a 700mb blank cd (80 minute cd). So a lot of kid movies can fit on one...as for splitting, if you use the tmpgenc wizard, you need to set up source range to split file. go here to find out more http://entiendo.gotnet.net/
