Verification Error

    I am using windows 2000 with a LiteOn 16X DVD-R/+RW and using RiDATA 4X DVD-R disc. Trying to burn a movie. After the burn I receive the following error ---

    9.36 35 Burn completed successfully @ 4x 5520 ks
    9.36 35 Verification started
    9.37 31Cannot mount the written CD
    LiteOn DVDRW Sohw-16335" (H1. T.1)
    9.37 31 Data verification failed

    Burned the same movie in another machine running XP, same type disc but in a Pioneer 4X DVD/CD writer.
    Had no problem and burn and verification successful.

    Whatam I doing wrong with the LiteOn burner?

    Try updating the Firmware for your drive.
