    Hi

I'm trying to find a quick way to check if a DVD copy of a video I have burnt is free from errors and have started checking this by playing the DVD at high speed (X64) on my player. My question is this, is this a reasonable way of checking for errors (watching for "correcting disk error" message). I'm not sure that if in this mode my player is skipping along tracks and just sampling bits of video every now and again, or if it really is reading all of the video at very high speed. I am guessing that if the player is doing the latter this is a good test whereas if it is skipping along tracks the player could possibly miss detection of a section of track that hasn't burnt properly. Any help would be appreciated

    Cheers
