What is the best program for a dvd to dvd copy? I am willing to do some compression and shrinking if neccesary (such as removing subtitles and extra features to make it fit on the dvd-r). Whats the best program to do this with?
I own a legal copy of Clone DVD 2 and I have downloaded DVD Shrink, and DVD Decrypter.

    What would you recommend?

Use what you have there young fellow :)

Rip with DVD Decrypter in the file mode and process and burn with CloneDVD -

    OR

Rip and process with DVD Shrink and burn with DVD Decrypter -

So there wont be a large difference in quality of the finished products depending on what I use? After reading an article on here it looks like DVD Shrink can burn too if you have nero 6 installed, which I do. Seems convienent.

    Evening f1drake
It's best to try a few different configurations to see what performs best for YOURSELF, bearing in mind everyone's pc specs are different.

    Good luck mate

f1drake, if you have nero ultra 6 you might want to consider recode. It will re-author, compress, and burn all in one program. Retains menu function also, UNLIKE shrink. It is an excellent app, I use it all the time, works just like shrink, easy interface. It won't rip, so use decrypter for that(file mode) and then just open nero and go to recode. Hey pete, neph, how goes it? Looking forward to Mr. Shrink's final curtain call next week?
