Hi guys, first post, long time reader, (i do use search!!!)
I was playing need for speed when my pc reset itself. When it rebooted my network gave the "Limited or no connectivity" message. (note 0 bytes to or from). I connect to the net through one other PC through a cross over cable. On the other PC its says "network cable unplugged"

I know about the SP2 problem, but i have had SP2 for ages with none. I have tried a few of the fixes, but i dont think this is the problem. My network card is on the motherboard.

    I have a gigabyte 7400 L MB, 2600+ athlon 1 gb Ram.

Any one able to give me a hand?

    Cheers

try a pci netcard as i have a customer with 2 different boards do same thing. but also possible driver corruption so download latest driver from chipset manufacturer not motherboard manufacturer

Hmm, i was thinking it may be easier to just spend the money and buy a card. That takes up a slot though.
