hi can anyone help me transfer my large vhs (pal) collection 2 dvd? using where possible free or cheap software progs? i'm new 2 this and dont understand all the talk about bitrate codec etc etc. i was looking for something very simple that would transfer vhs straight to dvd if poss? would their be a tool to compress etc? any probs with copyrighted tapes that can be overcome. really desperate for someones expertise and to point me in the right direction for the software needed? thanks grawick (newbie)
