vhs to dvd via mercury tv/video capture card

    ive just got a mercury tv'video capture card ,tv works fine [colour and sound etc] but when i try to capture a video its in black and white with sound??????????anyone got any ideas whats going wrong

    It sounds you are Trying to Capture Pal Video with a NTSC Capture device or trying to Capture NTSC Video with a Pal Capture device....
    Also if you use a RCA Composite to S-Video adapter it will also cause this Effect....

    hey i got a mercury one and i don't know how to save channels.. i'm sure i had instructions but i can never find the channels ! help !
