I bought a Video Card over ebay.
I didn't realize that my computer doesn't have an AGP slot.
The available slots aren't part of the motherboard they connect through another removable card. Does anyone know what this would be called? An if I could replace it with another that has a AGP slot.

    Thanks for the help.

i think you'll have to get a pci(slower than agp) video card. if the isa/pci slots are mounted on a vertical card that is called a riser card & probably can't be replaced with 1 that has an agp slot on it. you are looking at getting a new case as yours is propriotory so a regular motherboard can be installed with the rest of your hardware

So an AGP riser wouldn't fit into a PCI riser slot.

I don't know what you call the slot the riser goes into but it is brown. Its just on long slot. Not the same as the PCI slots themselves.

agp slots are usually located close to the cpu hence 1 of the reasons the agps are faster than pci

The slot is very close to the CPU about 2 cm.

I know but your not telling me the answer I want to hear.
I really wanted it to work but now I've let it settle and will sell it to someone.

every thing i told you is based on the info you provided. now you see 1 of the reasons i don't like name brand computers as can be a bitch to upgrade compared to a clone computer. do what i suggest in my earlier post as in getting a new case, motherboard that takes that videocard & either your cpu or a new cpu
