Good! Using two 500W PSUs is a good way of running a very powerful PC relatively quietly, as you can have two quiet PSUs rather than one noisy one. Additionally, if you have a case that can fit two PSUs, chances are it'll be huge and have plenty of room for all the high end components the two units are powering.
Well, that's quite interesting. I have an idea that you would spend less on two 500watt power supplies than one 1000 also. Plus quieter. The only drawback is, need bigger case. Hmmmm. Where do you see yourself going on that tradeoff?
About the duel PSU's, Sam, remember that NZXT Tempest case you showed me a while back? Well its called the NZXT Khaos, and it officially support two PSU's. Check it out: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146049&Tpk=Khaos Price isn't to friendly at $400 but it was higher before - I think it dropped $30 since the last time I saw it.
the tempest and kaos are two different cases...LOL btw i have set up these on craiglist london: http://london.craigslist.co.uk/sys/787811161.html http://london.craigslist.co.uk/sys/787765531.html guess who i took the name Mo's from??? (well me obviously, its my first name )
yep, pretty sure you have done it before im getting a £75 profit on those , or event more with the cable management / warranty BS
lol cable management BS. I do that shit for free. Meaning I dont do it at all haha. Naw, I try but not too hard.
The tempest and Khaos are two separate cases... lol Shaff: Lol couldn't you at least put a properly scaled jpeg in there? That pic is all fuzzy and horrible...
Eh? It costs you for answering calls in the US? Ah of course, international call reception. You sly devil...
Oh, actually I just though it would cost him to answers calls period! lol Yeah we have to pay for incoming here. Unless you are on Nextel, but they are pretty much dead.
Nono, you only pay to make calls in the UK, except for international calls, even then, I don't know if you pay to receive international calls to you in the UK, I only know it costs you if someone calls you when you're outside the country.
Yes, I know that now, but when you posted info about it before it was released you were like, "this is the Tempest" and posted a pic of the Khaos... I hate the new tempest anyways - Antec 900 knock-off.
I like it. Yes, it's an Antec 900 clone, pure and simple, but it's better than the 900 in several ways, so who cares? Cheap crappy knock offs should be shunned, but when they're better than the original, far be it for me to complain - if you're wondering what's better about it, the 200mm fan that can only be replaced with a likesame model from Antec is now two 140mm fans that are easily swappable, but included, and quiet as standard, the 120mm side fan is included as well, and it goes from having the worst hard disk mount in history and fitting six drives, to having the best, and fiting eight. Plus, I think it looks better at the front (matter of taste I know) and based on other NZXT cases, will be better made. The 900's side panels are pretty flimsy.
well I was going to change my mind from the lian li to the khaos but after checking it out and seeing how room was inside I said screw it...
