video CDs on MAC

    I don't see a Forum for backing up or makeing Video CDs with my mac. I have been backing up DVD's fine but my laptop is a PC not mac and I would like to back up my dvds onto a cd so I can watch them on my laptop. IS there a forum or link you can send me too?

    Same question here.
    I'd like to be able to put together some short movies on CD-R .. any assistance would be appreciated.

    Grab "vcdgear" from the web, and use this to make "Toast ready mpeg's". Then simply select Video CD within toast, transfer the mpegs and then burn. I have Toast 5, working on OS9.2 and all is well. Well, some mpegs I've put thru VCD Gear seem to be corrupt but that's down to the original mpeg not the app.
