Have recently bought a Mac Book Pro and wanted to edit some video files using imovie, these vid's are in mpg format so I must convert them to a format that imovie will recognize. Went looking for and found a free download from Wondershare.com for "mpg converter for mac" [not the pro version which costs $40.00] this item is available in 2 versions. #1 is an Intel version, #2 is a power PC version. Both are for a mac, but knowhere is any information available as to what the difference is between the two versions. I don't know which ver. to use, so I'm hoping someone within the forum is familier with this product and can provide me with some information and or advice, it would be appreciated. Thanx Joe
I am using a winavi converter after conversion and burning the dvd can not play to any dvd players only on pc
