video editing

    does anyone know a good program to do video editing(special effects, sound, etc) besides movie maker

    there are quite a few what kind of system do you have mac? pc? for mac finale edit pro, pc adobie,pinnicle,ulead, the list goes on, it get's better with google you might try that,

    hanaku that is a good encodeing program but the post read they want a video editing program not just encoding, the programs you are talking about just encode not edit.

    I presently use Ulead Video Studio 10 PLUS. I've been using Ulead since their version 5.I've had good results for the most part. Interface is pretty easy to use and the effects are plentiful. You can even do a blue screen effect I'm still am amateur when it comes to editing but everyone seems to enjoy the Christmas Message DVD I send out every year so I must be doing something right.
