Hey guys, trying to watch a video on my pc,but it doesnt work. The sound is perfect but the video is not showing at all.
I downloaded the Xvid player, but if i try to use it the blue Xvid goes red(you'll understand if you know the player).
I also tried installing an Xvid codec and it said it was installed but I dont know if it works with winamp or WMP because ive never installed a codec before, and tbh,i dont have a clue what im doing. Thanks for any help you can give!

Usually the codec is automaticaly used by the AVI player (and any movie application), if it matches to the AVI type. Are you sure you're tying to see a Xvid AVI? And couldn't it be a DivX AVI?
Try instilling FFDShow, which is a multi-purpose general decompresser. After all, you don't need to make AVIs, only to watch them.
