I just switched to a Linux Operating system (Suse Linux 10.0). I switched because im tired of MS Windows locking up and slowing me down. I'm trying to get a video player that can play videos that i download from the internet - mpg/avi/mov etc. The players that the software came with, kde and real10 dont seem to play alot of these formats. I'm having trouble installing a video player, ive tried mplayer and VLC but being new to linux, i have trouble installing. I was wondering if anyone could help me with this.
