yeah thanx lethal b. ill buy me 1 of those cases. too late tho. lol only had for 2 days and broke my screen now i have to get it replaced by a repair store becuz the apple store wont take it. ;-) yeha that it absolutely right. if u downgrade it should work becuz thats what i did to my friends ipod and it worked. this is b4 i new the psp9 would work too. the only reason i didnt want people to downgrade is becuz its way more confusing and u get that stupid pop up everytime u plug in your ipod that says update. eyah so i jsut posted what i knew.
i would just like to thank zero4eva. Ive been having problems for ages with downloading videos to my ipod 9they worked but with no sound) and finally problem solved! Would just like to say a big thank you for the psp thread. im now tranfering videos with sound!! yipee! thanks again
Many thanks for the excellent posts on here - zero4eva and seanathin, your advice here has been excellent in particular. I ended up by dowgrading to 1.0 and all my videos play perfectly. I turned off the reminder to upgrade back to 1.1 - it would be very annoying having that come up all the time. I haven't tried PSP yet but will give it a go when I get a chance. One thing that still annoys me is the video format whereby I end up with bars at the top and bottom of the screen, this is due to the iPod having a 4:3 shape and most dvd's outputting a 16:9 (wide screen) shape. Is there a way to rip the video with a zoom to cut off the sides of the movie but allow me to see the whole screen (at this size I would rather loose the edges of the movie but use the whole screen). Any advice would be appreciated. All the best and thanks again. Simon
Nice job in here guys. Have stuck a suggestion in my sig that people needn't upgrade to iPod firmware 1.1, so that should maybe spare a few people making similar thread in future
