Video resize?

    I burn a video file with on-screen embedded text at the bottom (Foregin film) and when I watch it on my x-box I can only see the top half of the text. Is there a way to resize the video so it would fit fully on my screen. (Also I did change my x-box from widescreen to normal but still didn't help.)

    Your problem would be your TV's overscan. Pretty sure that XBMC can be adjusted for overscan.

    No idea. Never used it. I'm sure if you look you will either find out how or that it isn't possible. If it isn't possible then you would have to adjust the files first by re-encoding with borders.

    its either you crop some of the top and add the bottom with a black bar. or resize it to a smaller and then add bars.

    get avisynth, then use
    crop()
    lanczosresize()
    addborders()

    or if you're lazy virtualdub.
