Video TS start up by opening TS file rather than right from player..

Happily, this does get easier and easier, so now I am at pure convenience questions!

I use MTR, dvd20nex, titanium 6 with success. these get saved as Video TS files which are then burned to the dvd. These files have to be "opened" from the TS file to play, versus a regular dvd which as soon as you put it in the dvd player opens it as a recognized dvd.

so the question: is there something I can do along the way in this process to ensure that all the burned dvds play right from the dvd player (the mac player)..
    thanks

Sounds like you aren't using the DVD-ROM (UDF) option in toast 6. It is under the DATA banner. If you are already doing that check your system preferences under the Hardware Heading - click on CD's and DVD's where it says "when you insert a video dvd" make sure it says open dvd player
