Virgin media newsgroups

    Hi all,

    im currently on virgin media and i was thinking of using their newsgroups to save some money as i currently pay a subscription to astraweb for access to newsgroups. does anybody have an idea of their retention? and with them not offering SSL does anyone discourage from using it considering the kind of things usually download from newsgroups.

    The retention time is only 6 (or possibly 7) days. And now is not a good time to start using it - they are currently having serious problems. See the VM support forums for the ongoing discussion.

    I have virgin.. with their nasty spying on users I wouldn't go anywhere near their newsgroups for anything.. at all.. ever...
