virtual drive?

    i am a newbie so i can get away with this...

    i have alcohol 120% licensed version
    what is a virtual drive it has added as drive G used for?

    as when i back up a game i don't use that drive.

    A virtual drive is just a small utility that makes your computer treat an image on your hard drive as if it were an acyaul disc in an optical drive. This has many uses with the most frequent being the ability to run games off your hard drive without needing the original disc :)

    VirtualDrive emulates your computer's CD/DVD-ROM drive, which enables you to run CD and DVD programs, such as games, music CDs, and DVD videos directly from your hard drive without the use of the physical CD/DVD-ROM drive or the actual disc. VirtualDrive copies the CD or DVD image directly to your hard drive.
