Hi,can anyone help me please jus downloaded virtual dub from this site i can't seem to get it to work when i load virt dub and open avi files to join together,keep getting error message....Couldnt locate decompresser for format "xvid"(unknown)Virtual Dub requires a video for windows compatable codec to decompress video. all help would be apprciated thanks.
The XviD codec can be downloaded here. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/codecs_and_filters/xvid.cfm You may find that Avidemux is more flexible when it comes to appending files. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/avidemux.cfm
